You did incredibly well on this.
There is a great bit of detail on the main subject (Skarmory) and the foreground and background (the grass) is also very detailed and well done.
Only complaint is that the sky itself is just white, no blue, no clouds, no sun, no moon. With the sky and its background being so plain (or not worked on if some people consider), I could take off a bit for that.
Regardless, I see very little reason for why this should not get you respect and fans considering the amount of work and how very well this end result came. You are an incredible artist!

It's nice to see an attractive bit of work made by you that isn't porn!
It's incredibly refreshing!
It's also a wonderful masterpiece at the same time, who would figure?

This is a wonderful work of art! The dark coloration does invoke a sense of sorrow, and yet she does not show signs of sadness or grief, it looks more like she is looking off, while in thought, and that the possibilities of thought are so infinite this piece by invoking use of the mind has proven itself a true masterpiece!

Surreal style. It's bright colorful simplistic make does not seem pleasant with that down-sending frown, and yet, that's the beautiful irony of this piece.

A humorous comic that tries to copy Cyanide's class, style, goofiness, and raunchiness, in epic failure.

I'm giving it a plus half star cause it's half decent.

Princess Mononoke is a favorite movie of mine, and I've noticed it inspires many to make different kinds of art involving nature, spirits, and animals. This is the most unique I've seen in the the creatures you call lurkers are seemingly dark and spooky, in addition to their cute aspects.

Ah, thank you! That was exactly what I tried to capture, since I think the movie did that very well as well with many different creatures. It just inspired me a lot in general, beautiful film :).

It's adorable and cute! Love how much detail is in the creature and how the background is blurred and the closest parts of the foreground are blurred. It makes it seem like one is focusing only on the critter, which one should be.

xcrosspictures responds:

Ah, thank you so much! Glad you like it :D

It's amazing how you managed to capture a very simply made 2D cartoon character and make a realistic version that is more 3D that still retains the very essence of the original. This is definitely a masterpiece and top notch piece of art, and the best fan art of Adventure Time I've seen yet.

Ahaha, you messin' the best you've seen? Thanks man, really appreciate this lil review ^^

Very nice... but her mouth is looking a bit funky with the way she has those puckered lips. None the less very attractive.

It's quite good, a nice basic cartoony character.

I love games, art, music, videos, I guess thats why I'm here. I tried making and programming simple games before, but most of them come out lousy. I tried drawing, painting, and sculpting, but that stuff comes out pretty mediocre. I guess I'm just a poet.
